Buy American - Support Your Country

I'll bet you've heard about the poor economy, let me ask you a question, do you want to be part of the solution, or part of the problem. I hear people whining about the economy every single day of my life now, and these same people refuse to buy American.

I still keep hearing how much better the importers are at everything, I think it's about time for people to start giving the USA a chance again, how does it help our country for people to continue to buy imported products, and sending the profits out of our country.

Maybe if people had half of an idea how ridiculous it sounds they'd give the USA a chance again, most of the things that the importers build, they have stolen from this country, and yes in some cases improved it, but in most cases it's a myth.

I'd like you to think back in history, what country has always been the industrial giant, the answer is the United States, until the past a few years, how do you think that this affects the economy, if you don't know I can answer it for you, it hurts our economy badly.

Most of the countries in the world used to come to us for things like grain, plastic, and a lot of other things, until someone had the bright idea to create the free trade agreement, it needs to be revised, and be made a fair trade agreement.

We need to start buying American again, we need to think American again, and we need to love our country again, it's time to think about it people, if you do nothing to help our country, then who is going to do it, it won't be our government, so don't go there.

It's up to you, and I to help fix the poor economic situation that our country is in, you can blame some of this on the politicians, but you can't pass the buck, it's your fault also, so people let's let's help our country pull out of the funk that it's in.

Remember earlier when I said that our government isn't going to help, I have an example for you, we have a new president, I won't mention names, but he has just initiated a stimulus plan, and it's a horrible idea, our country has no money to create stimulus with.

I'm not going to go in to the specifics of this stimulus plan, but I am going to talk some common sense here for a minute, if you were bankrupt, would you go buy a new house, fully knowing that there is no way that you can afford to pay for it, probably not.

But our president will pay out a stimulus to millions of people, some of who are not even American citizens, and how does he get the money to do it when the country is bankrupt, he just prints more money, and every dollar he prints gets a little more worthless, sounds great huh.

As far as the economy our country is going down in flames, and nobody wants to help stop it, don't be surprised when it crashes because it will, so keep not buying American, and keep blaming other people for it, but you know the truth, you are part of the cause, not the part of the solution.

Buy American
I've become very concerned about the state of the USA, I'm a 44 year old man who really thinks that Americans have lost their way, and are depending on the country for everything, it's time to help yourselves or find another way.

Democrats Need to Stop Putting Capitalism in a Bad Light

Why is Capitalism such a bad word all of a sudden? There is nothing really wrong with Capitalism other than its inherent ability to persuade government to prostitute itself to its favor. Of course, I am not sure why anyone in the World would be surprised with that notion, such words were uttered by Adam Smith nearly 200-years the prior.

Capitalism is no more evil than the innate objects we call corporate jets. And to that line of reasoning; Money is not evil either. It never has been and it's certainly not the root of all evil; it's merely a unit of trade. We should be thankful that this system of civilization has brought us this far.

If we look at Plato's republic, which I realize you maybe well studied in, we take from it an underlining theme that a society does best when each individual does what he does best and is alleviated from those things he finds mundane. Our economic system actually allows for that.

Thus, the individual is more efficient, allowing the whole of society to be more efficient and this creates abundance. And we know from human nature that humans like to do the least and get the most for it. Capitalism rewards productivity and thus, there is more productivity.

Socialism gives incorrectly and makes everyone economically equal meaning those who have the most ability to perform, say, "why should I?" Call it the Ayn Rand effect if you will. If we reward folks that are lazy and take from those who are strong; in the end we will have no strength and everyone will become lazy. That's not the America I know.

President Obama to Balance the Budget by 2013 - Nonsense!

The Public Relations Propaganda Machine of the Obama Administration is firing on all cylinders, unlike the economy, but the President has said no matter, he can fix the economy, offer healthcare to everyone, and still reduce the deficit by 2013. Oh Really, and just how does he propose to do that? Well, he says he will remove the troops from Iraq? And get this, Tax the Rich?

Well, he will not be able to tax the wealthy rich socialists that support him. Besides they all have offshore accounts in Lichtenstein or with Swiss Account Numbers at UBS. Worse, Obama is calling people that make over $250,000 per year as rich? Interestingly enough, with the coming inflation from all his spending, 250K won't be nearly worth what it is today.

And in a recession there are a lot less folks making $250K these days. Of course, President Obama, the economist is going to give us another Really Big Speech this coming week of how all this will work. Believe me, I've heard his speeches, promises and talk, yet I just bet this plan of his will not be explained just a lot more fancy dancing.

How is someone who is going to have spent over 1.5 Trillion Dollars in his first 100-days in office going to balance the budget? That's absurd and it is wishful thinking, even in a perfect world with no Earthquakes in San Francisco, no major Hurricane Disasters and no wars it cannot be done without cutting government costs.

Oh but he promises to cut military spending by leaving Iraq? And yet, he promises to give everyone universal health care. And we already know that he put forth the Stimulus Spending Package to pay off his socialist friends, campaign PAC groups, and supporters. Amazing the level of rhetoric these days - is anyone getting tired of this yet?

Barack's Binge - Maniacal Spending in the Name of Stimulus

Take comfort in the fact that liberal ideologues have transformed our nation's capital into a proverbial La La Land. In order to make their insane policies seem saner, like most three year olds, they've resorted to constructing their own reality. And seemingly out of nowhere...SHAZAM! Suddenly you'd think that each Democrat has become the equivalent of King Solomon on the throne-both anointed and enlightened. For it's under this reality and in the name of stimulus, that congressional liberals led by Barack Obama have turned to exploiting our fears in order to promote their agendas.

Democrats have mastered the art of capitalizing on catastrophe. In the words of Obama's chief of staff, Rahm Emanuel, we "never let a serious crisis go to waste. It's an opportunity to do things you couldn't do before." So while most Americans are cutting back, Democrats are scaling up. Everything they've ever wanted is now at their fingertips. And don't you worry about the price! "Really, what's a billion dollars here or there?"

The fact that liberals believe it's possible to spend their way out of a recession proves that common sense remains their Achilles Heel. According to the Heritage Foundation, "The current 'stimulus bill' will be the largest spending bill ever enacted by Congress, making the New Deal look small." This socialist experiment would in fact exceed the price tag of both the Afghanistan and Iraq wars COMBINED!

And to say the stimulus would help the economy is like saying Katie Couric has helped NBC...absolutely preposterous! The Washington Times in its article, "A 40-Year Wish List," observed that, "12 cents of every $1, is for something that can plausibly be considered a growth stimulus." In other words, eighty-eight percent of this economic plan is meant to further, not the good of this economy, but the Marxist ideals of its writers.

Their intentions couldn't be more evident than in the proposed allocation of two hundred million dollars to Planned Parenthood (a.k.a. the abortion factory). In the words of Nancy Pelosi, liberal speaker of the House, "The family planning services reduce cost." This dearly held doctrine that baby termination equals economic stimulation seems somewhat hypocritical coming from Pelosi-herself a mother of five "costly" children.

Other "needed" stimulus expenditures include:
-$500-1000 for each illegal alien willing to get a tax id number
-$400,000,000 for STD prevention (in large part thanks to Bill Clinton)
-$600,000,000 for government cars
-$650,000,000 for digital television coupons
-$200,000,000 for repairs to the National Mall
-$21,000,000 for grass seed

Now I'm delighted for those who will enjoy newly manicured lawns, but the grass isn't always greener on the other side! How are these expensive items going to benefit our economy? This bill will only make the government larger and the value of our dollar smaller.

It's chilling how readily some in Congress are willing to sacrifice our future in order to achieve their agendas! If left unchecked, these big-spending liberals will drive our country into bankruptcy-leaving us with nothing but hope and some spare change.
