Jefferson County Public Law Library The Jefferson County Public Law Library (JCPLL) provides a current collection of legal reference materials based upon the belief that access to knowledge and information is essential to the promotion of justice and respect for the law. The library is available to the general public as a reference facility.
Northern University Of Kentucky - Salmon P. Chase Law Library The Law Library collection contains over 32,205 monographic and serial titles and over 242,595 volumes. Of this, 138,044 volumes are in hard copy and 104,551 volumes are in microform. The collection includes federal and state statutes, court reports, journals, and treatises. In addition to the print collection, law faculty and law students have access to LEXISNEXIS, WESTLAW, LegalTrac, First Search, CIS Universe, from their office and/or home computers. All library users can also access these sources from public workstations located on both floors of the library and from the Legal Information Technology Lab on the first floor. In addition, all library users can access LegalTrac, First Search, CIS Universe from all public workstations and office computers. NKU Faculty and students can also access First Search from home with the appropriate password. The Law Library also contains a number of titles on videotape, as well as on CD-ROM.
State Law Library The State Law Library's primary function is to provide research and reference assistance and materials to the justices and judges of Kentucky. The library's collection is available to other state agencies and the public. The library staff provides reference service and instruction in use of the material, but not legal advice.
University Of Kentucky Law Library The Law Library's primary mission is to support the College of Law's academic programs as well as to provide the highest quality of service, in a hospitable environment, to its faculty, students, and alumni. As the Law Library's most valuable resource, the library team strives to exceed the expectations of its clients by providing creative and flexible solutions to their diverse and evolving information needs.
University Of Louisville - Louis D. Brandeis Law Library The Law Library is a major resource for legal information, serving the university community, the practicing bar, and the general public. The services and facilities of the Law Library are available to all on an equal basis, with only a few exceptions.
The primary mission of the Law Library is to support the curriculum and the research needs of faculty and students of the School of Law. This primary mission motivates the adoption of policies and procedures, as well as the provision of materials, equipment and services.
