The key to success with any on-line endeavor is TRAFFIC. It makes no
difference if your giving away web-sites, selling stock, or pushing
an MLM. If you don't have anyone visiting your web-site you will not
succeed. There are any number of ways to drive traffic to your site.
In my opinion the very best would be a 30 minute spot on 20/20
telling everyone why they should stay away from my domain. But
that's just a dream on my part.
There is no one on the internet giving away services without getting
something in return. By providing that service to you they are in
one way or another providing themselves with a LINK to sell whatever
it is that is making them money. But that's ok, that's business. AND
VERY SMART BUSINESS TO BOOT!!!
How is all this going to help you, your ask. Well, if you don't
register your sites with the major search engines it's not going to
help much, but if you do, it's going to help more than all the mail
you could ever send to all the opt-in lists there are. To show you
I'm not blowing smoke try this little test. Go here to view link
popularity for Opportunity Update You should get between 10 and 11
thousand links. Over 9/10's of those hits will be for sites other
than Opportunity Update . Those other sites are linked to
Opportunity Update with either a banner, button or text link.
Are you starting to get the picture? The more links you have the
more TRAFFIC your going to get, it's the closest thing to perpetual
motion I know of. I prefer a button link, it takes up much less
space than a banner and is much more noticeable than a simple text
link. You can easily place 10 buttons on your site in different
locations or as a button panel across the bottom of the page.
As you can see we don't carry 500 links to other sites. We
