Nevada Supreme Court Library - The Library provides up-to-date legal materials in all formats, including print, CD-ROM and on-line. The collection emphasizes primary legal resources (statutes, cases and regulations of state and federal government) and provides secondary legal materials geared towards the general practitioner. In addition to United States law, the library maintains a collection of English common law materials dating back to the Magna Carta. Other specialties are Indian law and Nevada law. The library subscribes to WESTLAW, LEXIS/NEXIS (government use only) and Shepard's Online. You may borrow from the collection using interlibrary loan through your local public or college library.
Clark County Law Library - The Clark County Law Library is a public law library open to everyone and there is no fee to use the library. The Law Library maintains in its collection both state and federal statutes, regulations, and cases, as well as commentary (in the form of treatises and periodicals). The entire collection contains more than 45,000 volumes, over 260 periodical titles, nearly 100 topical loose-leaf services, and six computerized databases that total 15 CDs. Materials are available in a variety of formats: paper, microfiche, video, audiotape, and CD-ROM. Internet-based computer research is available on five computers and two computers are used for all CD database research.
University Of Nevada Las Vegas Wiener - Rogers Law Library - The Wiener-Rogers Law Library at UNLV, founded in 1998, is the largest law library in the state of Nevada, providing access to basic primary sources of American law for all jurisdictions, as well as treatises, loose-leaf services, periodicals, and finding tools of interest to the academic community, the practicing bar, and the public at large.
Washoe County Law Library - The Law Library pursues a full range of books and technologically enhanced services that provide timely, accurate and efficient access to the sources of law, including local, state and federal government resources. The Law Library is a partial selective depository for U.S. Government documents. The combination of resources selected for the Washoe County Law Library is based on user needs, abilities and budget. The ability to provide access to legal information requires experienced, well-trained professional staff to acquire and organize legal materials for future retrieval and to perform reference interviews and then instruct patrons on the use of specialized legal materials pertinent to patron needs.
