In addition to supporting the needs of the Supreme Court and the Appellate Bench, the Supreme Court Libraries provide a legal resource to the state and local judiciary, members of the state bar, and the general public. University Of Memphis Law Library - The library offers students, faculty, and the public a wide collection of over 250,000 volumes of books and microforms including statutes, court reports, digests, encyclopedias, treatises, loose-leaf services, periodicals, and government documents. University Of Tennessee College Of Law Joel A. Katz Law Library - With its collection of over 450,000 volumes and volume-equivalents, the Joel A. Katz Law Library at the University of Tennessee is the largest public law library in Tennessee. Its primary function is to support the teaching, research, and public service responsibilities of the College of Law. The Library also provides access to legal information to faculty, staff, and students of the University, to members of the bench and practicing bar, and to the general public. Vanderbilt University Law School Alyne Queener Massey Law Library - The Alyne Queener Massey Law Library is a division of the Jean and Alexander Heard Library of Vanderbilt University.
